Hi Colin , I always knew if I was spending time with Diane it would be fun , I’m so thankful for the QA get together we both enjoyed in May , never imagined it would be our last drinks together

Beautiful Diane & I would go out together every Saturday night at 15/16 years old, we were always into fashion & wear matching berries (hats) on our head,pencil skirts , high heels, go to the poshest hotel , drink cocktails & TRY to smoke those long cigarettes you could get in the 70's (forgotten name) with out coughing, we thought we looked so cool! & just laughed & laughed, planning our next big adventure in life! (Diane always achieved her dreams work at Harrods, went to Canada & lots ,lots more!!( me not so ,stayed in York all my life) We would then go to the Old World , Stonegate & dance the night away!! Such Happy Happy innocent times, I still remember to this day! last saw my Beautiful friend last summer in Easingwold ( I live in Easingwold) with her dear mother & planning to meet up soon,I am going to miss you so much Beautiful Diane, plus all of your so many, many friends you had, Love You R . I .P

I know that so many people are still in shock and that this could feel awkward, but please feel free to just share anything - whether it was a silly thing she said or did (there must be loads of those) or things that you remember for whatever reason - I'm sure there will be a lot of things that other people will recognise and trigger other memories. Just celebrate the memories of Diane and keep her spirit bright and alive

We last got together at Christmas which we tended to do. Not for one minute did I think that’s the last time I’ll see you. I will miss you my friend xxx
